Greg: Wow, it's really coming down out there!
Sophia: Yeah, I'm a little worried. The roads are going to be rough for the drive home.

Greg: Did you see the message that got sent out a few minutes ago? The company is closing early today so that we can get home before it gets too bad.
Sophia: Oh, that's a relief.


Greg: 와, 밖에 눈 엄청 많이 온다.
Sophia: 내 말이. 좀 걱정되네. 집에 갈 때 운전하기 힘들겠다.
Greg: 몇 분 전에 문자 온 거 받았어? 눈 너무 많이 쌓이기 전에 오늘 회사 일찍 마무리한대.
Sophia: 오, 완전 다행이다.


"It's really coming down out there!" 라는 문장에 단어 snow가 들어 있지 않아도 "눈이 많이 온다." 라는 의미가 됩니다. Sophia가 사용한 "rough" 라는 단어는 "difficult(어렵다)" 혹은 "dangerous(위험하다)" 라는 의미로 사용되었습니다.

자가용을 운전 할 경우, "the drive home"
다른 교통수단을 이용할 경우, "the ride home"
걸어서 갈 경우, "the walk home" 이런 식으로 응용하여 사용해보세요~^^
