The city of Busan announced that it will host the 17th Busan Port Festival for two days from June 1 to June 2, against the backdrop of Busan Port. The event will take place at the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal, Bukhang Waterfront Park, and Yeongdo Coast Guard Pier.

A highlight of this year’s festival is the "Global Port-Park," a space utilizing the symbol of Busan Port logistics, the "container," where visitors can experience diverse content from various countries.

In this space, visitors can engage with traditional crafts and cultures from different nations. The "Turkey Pavilion" will offer hands-on experiences with Turkish traditional crafts, the "Japan Pavilion" will showcase Japanese music culture, and the "Thailand Pavilion" will feature Thailand’s healing culture, providing a small world tour that satisfies all senses.

Additionally, the "Busan Pavilion," composed of large containers, will offer educational experiences through quizzes and missions related to Busan Port. At Bukhang Waterfront Park, there will be children's writing and drawing contests and model ship-building activities.

At the Yeongdo Coast Guard Pier, programs will include the "Large Patrol Ship Open House," a "Busan Port Tour" featuring boarding experiences on the 'Saenuriho' and 'Jagalchi Cruise,' and a "Mission Stamp Tour" where participants visit the Yeongdo Marine Cluster to complete missions.

The opening ceremony will be held at 7:30 PM on June 1 at the parking lot of the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal. The ceremony will feature a celebratory performance by singer Kim Bum-soo and a spectacular "Busan Port Fireworks Show & Dong-gu Drone Art Show" with 1,200 drones and fireworks, marking the start of the festival.

Park Geun-rok, head of the City’s Tourism MICE Bureau, stated, “It is meaningful to host the 17th festival at Busan Port, which holds economic and historical significance as an international trading port. We have prepared a variety of experiential programs for citizens to enjoy, and we look forward to their interest and participation.”
  부산시는 부산항을 배경으로 6월 1일부터 2일까지 이틀간 부산항 국제여객터미널, 북항 친수공원, 영도 해양경찰서 부두 일원에서 '제17회 부산항축제'를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 축제의 주요 프로그램으로는 부산항 물류의 상징인 '컨테이너'를 활용한 공간에서 여러 국가의 다채로운 콘텐츠를 만날 수 있는 '글로벌 포트 파크(Global Port-Park)'가 주목된다.

 이 공간에서는 여러 국가의 전통 공예와 문화를 체험할 수 있다. 

튀르키예의 전통 공예를 직접 체험할 수 있는 '튀르키예관', 일본 음악 문화를 만날 수 있는 '일본관', 태국의 힐링 문화를 담아낸 '태국관' 등으로 구성돼, 오감이 만족하는 작은 세계 여행지를 선보인다

 또한, 대형 컨테이너로 구성된 '부산관'에서는 부산항과 관련된 퀴즈와 미션을 통해 교육적 체험을 할 수 있다. 북항 친수공원에서는 어린이 글짓기·그림 그리기 대회와 배 모형 만들기 체험 등이 진행된다.

영도 해경부두 프로그램으로는 영도 해양경찰서 부두 일원에서 '대형 함정 공개', '새누리호'와 '자갈치 크루즈' 승선 체험인 '부산항투어', 영도 해양 클러스터를 방문해 미션을 수행하는 '미션 스탬프투어' 등이 운영된다.

6월 1일 오후 7시 30분에는 부산항국제여객터미널 주차장에서 개막식이 열린다. 개막식에서는 가수 김범수의 축하공연과 1,200대의 드론과 불꽃이 어우러진 '부산항 불꽃쇼 & 동구 드론 아트쇼'가 펼쳐져 축제의 시작을 알릴 예정이다.

박근록 시 관광마이스국장은 “경제적·역사적으로 가치 있는 국제무역항 부산항에서 17회째 축제를 개최하게 되어 뜻깊다”며, “시민들이 즐길 수 있는 다양한 체험 프로그램을 마련했으니 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 전했다.
